Rare Woven Leather Armchair & Footstool – In Brown Leather

On offer on this occasion is the rarest of the rare (in fact, i have never seen such a thing before, and have been unable to identify another one available for sale since i was lucky enough to acquire it), with the piece in question being a peerlessly-executed woven-armchair and footstool, which has been painstakingly hand-woven in a luxurious, top-grade, gently-vintaged saddle-leather in dark-brown.
Bearing no makers-marks or identifiers, i suspect this is a specially-commissioned one-off requested for a bespoke renovation and, my goodness, they really did create something genuinely-remarkable.
This piece is also in superb, immaculately-maintained condition, showing only the very lightest signs of use, consistent with the irregular, residential employment it has seen, and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its terrific order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past and, in my experience, is as well-presented as you could possibly hope to find.

The armchair dimensions are H-110cm, W-70cm and D-80cm, with the footstool measuring H-30cm, W-40cm and D-40cm, and the breathtaking seating position this iconic design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously sprung back, arms and seat-cushions, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Not only does it possess looks to die for, but it is hugely comfortable too!
Costing in excess of £12,000 when originally commissioned, it represents spectacular value for money, and we have no doubt it will serve and delight its new owner for many years to come.

A good seller with access to exceptionally high quality furniture wiling to negotiate mutually beneficial arrangements on their stock. I must say I was disappointed on delivery, as I was left three weeks with no messages or notifications. However when delivery was scheduled it was attended by two individuals who delivered to a third floor without quibble. Furthermore, this is luxury furniture at a discount, so in the round, a positive experience, and I both recommend and would buy again .
